Strengthen training to patient service ambassadors

Since 2022, patient service ambassadors from the seven clusters have been promoting the use of ‘HA Go'. To prepare for the implementation of fees and charges reform, they proactively reached out to the community to introduce ‘HA Go' and its payment feature, "PayHA", helping residents experience more convenient and efficient hospital services. "Patient service ambassadors have received training when joining the team, and become highly familiar with ‘HA Go'. Due to the HA fees and charges reform, certain services that were previously free will now require payment, such as blood taking and non-emergency radiology imaging services. We have prepared relevant information to strengthen training for ambassadors, ensuring they can effectively assist patients in adapting to the new process," says Dr Venus Siu, Senior Manager (Cluster Operation & Cluster Service) of the HA. Alongside specialist out-patient clinic, kiosk and shroff, patient service ambassadors will also cooperate with volunteers and other staff at Integrated Patient Service Centre and other key touchpoints to assist patients.
