Little café managers for a day

In partnership with a chain coffee shop, the Patient Resource Centre of Hong Kong Children's Hospital offered a unique ‘little café manager for a day' experience for some 26 paediatric warriors! Under the guidance and encouragement of the professionals, the children successfully completed tasks such as serving customers, making beverages, handling payments and more. This meaningful activity allowed them to temporarily shift their roles from care recipients to service providers, offering a sense of accomplishment. It was heartwarming to see the innocent smiles on the kids' faces as they served drinks and pastries to their parents, expressing the purest love and gratitude.
